    We Are Shi"t..

Just after kick off it was the obvious boot up top to no one,..or play back to Keeper,...Absolute Garbage.,,
Surely now we could take a calculated risk, and completely baffle the other team by trying to keep the bloody ball on the deck.
    It is appalling to watch,...
Yes we were playing City,..but did Norwich not beat them 3.0 ?
Really lost for words by our team and Chairman

I'm not lost for words Jon, the conduct and administration of the Board has been woeful for a long time now, they act like amateurs which is embarrassing for a so called PL Club, for me it was as easy to read and guess what was going to happen like a cheap novel.

I think we have lost Sean Dyche tonight.

All for the sake of a few bob and that 2performance" was embarrassing.

The Child Bride said we look like a poor man's Hartlepool United, and for once I agree with her.

Is this the same club, the same team that went on such a good run before lockdowm. ? Are the players in the frame of mind that we are totally safe with nothing to play for ? 3 months ago we were all praising the team who had some great results. Even with a proper team , playing with maximum potential ,the result would not have been much different. That’s the way it is in this league. Sometimes the gulf in class and ability is something that you just cannot do anything about.

    I wasn't Malwayne, and I don't think I was alone.

Ah yes, Norwich beat them 3-0 and Norwich are where? We always lose at the Etihad, they alwways get a dodgy penalty at the Etihad, sometimes even when the ball has gone out of play, been retreived by a player who was offside and then falls over the keepers leg ---don't fret.
I wish we played like Bournemouth and Norwich and Aston Villa, always a pleasure to watch.

Our night got off to a poor start, with the aircraft towing banner, which when are team have said they are supporting Black Lives Matter, was totally uncalled for the people responsible do not support the players.
The situation with contracts has been very badly managed by whoever is responsible for contractual matters whether that the CEO or the chairman of the board. Over the years it would appear that our club as been penny wise but pound foolish. Could it be that since we were relatively safe and with CV19 extending the season that the board of directors deemed they could take a risk and save on players wages. It would appear that Sean Dyche is not to happy with the situation.
If as with Joe Hart the club was not going to renew his contract, I can understand why he would not want to risk an injury which could affect his future career, unless the club was prepared to ensure that if he was injured the club would guarantee his current wages until he recovered and a transfer window was available to him.
I was not expecting a good result tonight, we never appear to have any idea of how to play against Manchester City.
When we saw a VAR review and it was Kevin Friend adjudicating it was obvious a penalty would be awarded, I think if it had been at the other end it would not have been given.
While I thought we were hard done by to go in at half time three goals down, we were pitiful in the second half. We persisted with the same tactic even when we were failing to win the long balls.
Just for once I would like to see us trying to take City on and put their defence under some pressure, I doubt the outcome could be any worse than it as been in our last few visits to the Etihad.

    .

of the one shot on goal we had - it wasn't on target - the players were lifeless - the quality of passing hopeless - the movement stunted - and the system glaringly transparent - but whats new....it's been that way for years.

Indeed it was Alto, I had the 2nd biggest bet of my life on City tonight, it was a very short price but a 15% ROI in just over two hours beats any bank or building society going, by a long way.
