If this because they tweeted a video of the statue being toppled?

My mate also posted a video of that, but he didn't organise it either.
    Maybe you organised it?

Bet you don't actually live in Bristol though, probably in a nice village 15 miles away, as is usually the case with you middle class multiculturalism advocates.

Funnily enough it was such a big story with the statue one of my mate's had a journalist turn up at his mum's doorstep trying to talk to him about the toppling of the statue (he doesn't live there). Even weirder as he wasn't even at the protest or involved in its toppling.

Never assume great_fire, you know how the expression goes. I bought a house in 2015 in the multicultural area of Redfield, the previous owners were a Somalian family. Since 2015 I've only lived in the Easton ward of Bristol which at the last census only 69.3% were born in England. http://easton.localstats.co.uk/censu...20in%20England.

The fact a co-founder of an organisation identifies as Marxist doesn't mean the BLM movement is Marxist. If he had identified as a toy-train collector it wouldn't mean the organisation was about toy trains either. This is something else people have trouble realising. No political movements are created to represent every belief of the founder, they have a more specific purpose that is ultimately determined by the wider body of supporters. Organisation just helps create a common identity, like branding, that local spin-offs (or the Premier league) that share the primary objectives of the moment are free to use.

Here's an article about how the Bristol BLM protest was organised (hint: it wasn't by BLM US or BLM UK):

Al qadea operate in a similar loose style, though BLM only decapitating statues at the moment.

And like Al Q they’ve got a lot of dumb foot soldiers indoctrinated to the cause

Mind you a bit of damage to Bristol might improve things.

Over the pond. Washington redskins owner has been told. If you don't change the name and remove the redskins bit they won't sign off the plans to built a new stadium.
Nearer to home Exeter chiefs rugby club have been urged to change the name by protesters as it's racist
