29 Rotherham United & Gillingham fans who went onto the pitch, after the final game
of the season in league one at Gillingham, have been sent postal charges for public
order offences.
14 fans of Rotherham United, & 15 fans of Gillingham FC have been charged for the
public order offences, with a Rotherham United fan being charged with common assault,
for allegedly pushing a steward to the floor.
The charges follow after a investigation by Kent police, with assistance from the forces
specialist football officers, & colleagues from South Yorkshire police.
The 14 Millers fans, of which 11 men, 1 woman were from Rotherham, with ages ranging
from their 20's to 50's, the other 2 Millers fans, a 22 year old from Doncaster, & a 42
year old from York.
All 29 fans are due to appear at Medway magistrates court on Thursday 8th & Friday 9th
of December 2022.

Frog, never works. Someone I know very well got a five year ban and he left it a month and just continued to go to matches, home and away!
He had no curfew hours imposed during March times so no deterrent.
Serves em right. Might think twice about doing it again.
interestingly less than 30 mins before the incident if a person on the pitch pushed over another person on the pitch, they may have got a yellow card, same action, same place, different time

Sentences for Rotherham fans
The following individuals attended court on Friday:
Jake Walton, 23, of St Nicolas Road, Rotherham received a four-month sentence suspended for 24 months, 250 hours of community service and a 10-year Football Banning Order.
Andrew Duke, 53, of Farm View Road, Rotherham received an eight-week sentence suspended for 12 months, 200 hours of community service and a four-year Football Banning Order.
Jarrod Allsop, 22, from Berry Edge Close, Doncaster received 130 hours of community service and a three-year Football Banning Order.
Jack Cranswick, 23, of Creswick Close, Rotherham received 150 hours of community service and a three-year Football Banning Order.
Alex Fields, 21, of Braithwell Road, Rotherham received 150 of hours community service and a three-year Football Banning Order.
Colby Smith, 26, of Fullerton Crescent, Rotherham was issued with a fine and a three-year Football Banning Order.
Lee Smith, 53, of Rockingham Road, Rotherham received 150 hours of community service and a three-year Football Banning Order.
Liam Baldwin, 35, of First Lane, Rotherham received 230 hours of community service and a three-year Football Banning Order.
Callum Davies, 23, of Rowan Rise, Rotherham received a 150 hours of community service and a three-year Football Banning Order.
Lee Horton, 46, of Linkswood Road, Rotherham received 150 hours of community service and a four-year Football Banning Order.
Lee Young, 42, of Deveron Way, York received 150 hours of community service and a three-year Football Banning Order.
One other person pleaded not guilty and committed for trial and one person failed to appear.
Those two 53 year olds better be careful or they'll ruin their chances of ever getting their over 60s concessions. 53 FFS!
I know two of them , father and son and they are not bad people , hard working but did a stupid thing that I know they regret.
