When we all are thinking in those terms ,where can there be division?
There can't Balan, but not every culture thinks along those lines.

The clubs statement was, in my opinion, spot on.

With due respect, I think there are a few on here that don't fully understand the BLM movement.
I also heard Ben Mee, he said that some of our fans need to educate themselves. My immediate thought was, no Ben, it's you that needs to educate yourself. Many people outside of the lefty/liberal/progressive/cultural marxist/SJW bubble understand the BLM movement only too well. Ben clearly doesn't, he should spend ten minutes on their website, it's all there.

Here's some info for you Alto, from the BLM Twitter feed,

"Prisons and Detention Centres should be abolished"

From their website, one of their aims is described as,

"Developing and delivering training, police monitoring and strategies for the abolition of police"

So if BLM get their way, no prisons and no police. And yet Ben Mee suggests that people who disagree with BLM need re-educating. I would suggest that Mr Mee should give his head a fecking great big wobble, and stick to football. But to be fair he is in an invidious position, if he doesn't go along with this latest woke lunacy, he'll be out of work quicker than you can say City 5 Burnley 0.

Far too simplistic an analysis from the Welsh Sheep Shaggers. Two mischievous lads prank the Etihad and that makes Burnley Football Club and the town a racist endeavour?

Burnley is a town with an industrial heritage built on white working-class labour. Often poorly paid, living in Victorian squalor, spinning the very cotton that came from slave plantations in the Deep South of the USA.

A town that was predominantly protestant, provided the cannon fodder in two world wars fighting the very fascism that still threatens us today. The values embedded in this old cotton town which rose from the ground during the Industrial Revolution are Christian and Democratic Socialism.

Racists? You are all having a laugh at the expense of a town that is all inclusive, now culturally vastly different from those Victorian days, but certainly not divided. A town still proud of its industrial heritage, its legacy and its professional football team that have given us the likes of Jimmy Adamson, Jimmy McIlroy, and Harry Potts.

In the 1960's young white kids danced and cohorted to the sounds of Black America. Motown, Stax, Atlantic and Northern Soul reverberated across East Lancashire and represented a connection between the English white kids and black music from the US.

Many of us from that generation have fought prejudice, hate and bigotry in all of its various disguises and evils, for all of our adult lives. Our heroes are Martin Luther King, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. Please do not insult us by claiming Burnley, its football club and its people are racists. We are not.

Is it not true the Welsh were bowmen in the English armies and won battle's with England against the french? Crécy, Poitiers, Agincourt, Orléans, Patay, Formigny and Castillon.

Marking a major turning point in the Hundred Years' War, the battle on 25 October 1415 was fought over the English kings' claim to the French throne. However, legend has it that at Agincourt - like at the 1346 Battle of Crecy - Welsh long bowmen held the key to English success.

Is it nice to talk about your brothers so?...............

Thanks Sinkov, I had heard some of what you said in your post # 15, but it sounded like 59 had a great handle on it and some/we on here did not understand, I just wanted it from someone who claims he knows.
