    Take a knee

Is this an instruction to Ben Mee against strikers or a political movement?

I only have one question-How long is it going to go on for. ? I would have thought once for each team would have been enough.

I wish he had taken his knee and slammed it into Jack's groin at the Turf this season!

I have this horrible feeling I read somewhere it was for 12 games. It's a shame it's behind closed doors, if fans were allowed in I reckon there might be some 'interesting' reactions to the pitiful spectacle.

as its been helpful in diverting the focus away from the impact of covid and the gratuitous abuse of peoples rights - then i'd suppose, long enough to broaden division and weaken the resolve of the people....until they're pushed further into subservience and are desperate for a "normality" of any pattern - and enthusiastic to any form of restrictive regulation to get it.

This is what "taking a knee" really looks like...

The trade unionism, the socialist politics Rebecca Long-Bailey embodies has no place within the right-wing Blair Mk2 “Starmerism” that Keir Starmer has swiftly brought to the Labour Party.

The removal from the shadow cabinet of Rebecca Long-Bailey represents the beginning of a cull that any other left leaning members of the shadow cabinet will suffer imminently.

“Starmerism” is a right of centre political project being constructed to present Labour to the British establishment as a safe pair of hands, a genial political force, which will appeal to middle England even more so than the Tories.

The reflux acid Starmer creates in my gut creates a fervent hope that Rebecca Long-Bailey can regroup, persevere, and bring a resurgence of Corbynism to the rank and file of the Labour Party.

Pictures can of course paint a thousand words but can always do with a little embellishment. I had one sent to me recently on FB of a white person in blackface being arrested by police with the added caption “this person was arrested by police for looting. Let that sink in.” I just noticed the police badges were from Canada so had a little look and the gent concerned had been arrested at an anti-racism rally in Toronto. No looting and he wasn’t even charged. The make up was terrible. I think he could have been charged with that. Sadly the only default these days is to mistrust everything you are told from whatever source. Sadly and this has been borne out time and time again during the BLM protests too many people are only too willing to believe any tosh they are told. Manipulators are the worst of people wherever you find them. I know that to my cost having been a victim. It made my skin crawl when I found out.

I'll just re-word that slightly BT, to reflect what's really going on, and which might make the Labour Party more electable in the eyes of ordinary, decent, working class people, who wouldn't touch Labour with a barge pole at the last election.

"The removal from the shadow cabinet of Rebecca Long-Bailey represents the beginning of a cull that any other anti-semitic members of the shadow cabinet will suffer imminently."
