No great surprise. Its totally out of hands and all we can do is to hope for an early resolution either way so we can move on. That said, you'd imagine the club will have been preparing for this scenario given the length of time the job has been vacant.

Would like to get past this. Rarely positive for players - especially those that have just signed for the boss who just signed you to disappear. New guy always has a ready excuse of not being able to pick his own players so needs more time to work thru any problems that he has responsibility over.

Hope he stays but fair play if he gets what is obviously a dream job.

Suspect Lasley primed and waiting to take over if needed.

Not what you want to hear especially at this time of uncertainty but realistically no one can begrudge him if he leaves to take over managing his country.

It is after all his dream to manage his country, but just have a gut feeling that he is the type of manager who thrives on the day to day involvement at club level. He openly stated how much he has missed being involved with the players due to covid19 shutdown.

The Record reports a Motherwell source, “He still has a contract until 2022 but we are prepared to offer him a new deal to keep him at the club."

No white (green?) smoke from the Irish FA yet despite a decision being widely trailed for today...you can't help but feel that suggests they're not just bumping up one of their own or taking the unemployed guy.
