Leeds United - v - Fulham ***Matchday Thread***

Leeds United entertain Fulham at Elland Road on Saturday, in what can only be described a as a huge 'six pointer'.* Fulham currently sit in fourth spot, seven points behind the Whites, with eight games remaining.* A Cottagers win would pull the London side right into the automatic promotion race, but a victory for Marcelo Bielsa's side would all but end Fulham's automatic promotion hopes.* At Craven Cottage earlier in the season, Scott Parker's side ran out winners and Leeds will be looking for revenge this time around.

    Manager/head coach

    Leeds United: Marcelo Bielsa

    Fulham: Scott Parker

    Leeds United: 2nd

    Fulham: 3rd

    Team news

Pablo Hernandez could return for Leeds after missing the trip to Cardiff City last weekend in a boost for Marcelo Bielsa's side.* For Fulham, Aboubakar Kamara remains doubtful after missing last week's defeat to Brentford through injury.

    Officials

    Referee - Tony Harrington

Assistant Referee 1 - Steven Meredith

Assistant Referee 2 - Shaun Hudson

    Fourth Official - Geoff Eltringham

    The key battle

    Ben White v Aleksandar Mitrovic

Striker Mitrovic is the joint leading marksman in the division with 23 goals to his name.* He was on the score-sheet in the reverse fixture earlier in the season and will be looking to add to his tally at Elland Road.* Leeds defender Ben White will be looking to keep the Serbian at bay, with a commanding performance in defence.

    Latest odds

    Leeds United: 8/11

    Draw: 13/5

    Fulham: 19/5

    A very nervous 2 - 1. Pablo 53'.

Mitrovic is a cheating basta. He tried to get a player sent off feigning injury just before the break and not a word said about it. 2 massive games in our recent history coming up. At least there's no crowd to relay their tensions to the players on the pitch. I'd also like MB to make changes a good bit earlier if it isn't going well.

Good luck with the wish for earlier changes.

Just another one of the ‘shyte or burst days’ we always seem to have.
    And be prepared for more.

Changes? You serious? Only if a player gets injured.

Leeds will be promoted later this season if we win today. If we are beaten today, we're doomed. Andy has spoken.

Ironic when you think about it....

Usually there are requests for any links and equally usually there are some kind souls who try to help out.

Now, no supporters allowed into the grounds, no pubs/clubs to go to, and yet no links. Sky (and all the others who own the rights) viewing figures must be going through the roof. Mrs O will be pleased.
