    National League promotion betting

Betway have released the first odds for who gets promoted from the National League:

    Harrogate Town 11/8
    Notts County 6/4
    Yeovil Town 13/2
    Halifax Town 10/1
    Barnet 14/1
    Boreham Wood 20/1

If anyone fancies our chances of being promoted, Betway are doing a new customer offer where they will match your opening deposit in free bets up to £30.

Heard on Tuesday that Barnet only have 13 signed first team players so there is talk of youth being used to fill the bench.
Its from a fan so should be quite reliable I guess.

I have devised a cunning plan here, which is this. Sign up as a new customer with Betway and deposit £30, which means they will give you £30 in free bets. Stake your £30 real money as follows:

£15 on Harrogate at 11/8 which would return £35.62
£6 on Yeovil at 13/2 which would return £45
£4 on Halifax at 10/1 which would return £44
£3 on Barnet at 14/1 which would return £45
£2 on Boreham Wood at 20/1 which would return £42

That would mean that if the best happens, Notts are back in the Football League and you have £30 in free bets.

If the worst happens, you have made a profit on your original outlay and also have £30 in free bets.

Heads you win, tails you don't lose.

Boreham Wood too. I don't know anything about their situation regarding squad numbers / wages / virus etc but 20/1 considering they just have to not lose 3 games after a huge lay off where anything can happen seems pretty good value.
