    Play offs a real possibility....

I’m not saying we will make them but in reality with the teams that have to play each other at the top it really is gonna be in our own hands.....

Keep playing the way we are and just don’t lose we could be there or there abouts!

The beauty of playing 6 teams above us in the table is at the same time the beast

Repeat bust up with Leeds would be most agreeable though

DYS looking good for the autos now. No guarantee we'll make the playoffs but if we do and navigate the semi successfully, it could be us and the Red Dogs at an empty Wembley going for glory.

    What a prospect that is.

And it'll be advantage red dogs as they're all too used to playing in an empty ground

Ah but we'll have Lawro back. Banned for PNE, Trees and WBA, back for Brentford.... sent off in that as well, 4 match ban. Misses Caerdydd, DYS, Brum and the one legged semi and comes back fresh for Wembley against the Red Dogs where he scores 3 and make 4 assists............ NOT.

34 appearances this season. 12 yellows (I thought it was 13) and 2 reds (neither as a result of a 2nd yellow) says all we need to know about his self discipline, or lack thereof. If he had stopped seeing the shrink/psychologist, he needs to start those sessions up again. Joy to watch when he's "on it", hugely frustrating when he's not and, this season and last, that's been for much of the time.

Asked purely from a theoretical perspective, will the playoff "semis" actually be 2 legged? There is no crowd to feed or home advantage for higher ranked team?

I had read ages ago they'd be one legged affairs. Following your question GP, I checked. They will, in fact be 2 legged affairs after all.

    Championship play-off semi-finals
    First legs
    6th vs 3rd - Sunday July 26, 6.30pm

    5th vs 4th - Monday July 27, 7.45pm

    Second legs
    3rd vs 6th - Wednesday July 29, 7.45pm

    4th vs 5th - Thursday July 30, 7.45pm

    Championship play-off final
    Winner semi-final A vs Winner semi-final B - Tuesday August 4, 7.45pm at Wembley Stadium

Thanks for getting me to research GP. Now we know when they are

I think the fates are conspiring against us. Losing Lawrence for 3 games and now the Wisdom incident on top of Marriott missing the rest of the season, we have too many key players missing for a number of difficult games.
