Thought so, but you have to be sure to be sure! Thats where my Family come from, my Sister is a few miles south in Newtown Mt Kennedy. My dad was from Dublin.
There all Man U fans 😲👎best pint of Guinness I have ever had, was in Wicklow.😀
Yes Dave. Wicklow town in County Wicklow.

Yeah Win, it’s hilarious sometimes. We moved here from Amsterdam 17 years ago. The Dammers are not in the least bit sociable towards strangers, or anyone from outside the Dam really. There were some really friendly people in some parts of the City, but apparently it would cost you around 50 clicks for those conversations.
Capitol City arrogance I suppose, so after 6 years of it, I was used to the personal space and privacy. It took me ages to adjust. Love it here really, even tho I grump a lot about it. But then that’s what I do, wherever I am.
The only links that I have to Ireland are my Wife and her family and the Young Villan of course.
Beautiful part of the country Wicklow. My father was from Dublin but moved to NTMK as his father was stationed in there as a Garda. My father would tell us stories of playing football with cows bladders they would steal from the local abattoir…..
Well there's a thing - my mum came from Co Roscommon, my dad's from Co Tyrone and that's where I was born before moving to brum in the early 70's. It was my late aunt that introduced me to the church in B6 and it was the beginning of a very long love affair - every day I would scour the newspapers & ceefax for all the football news.
Seems like a common path, Ireland to the church via Manachester and yes, the old days of teletext, villa news!
I have a photo of myself sitting on the cannons in Wicklow pointing out to the bay, little did I know i would get the same photo 45 years on!
Well lets hope between us we can rub off some Irish luck at Anfield on Sunday
Hourihane to score the winner off his backside in the 95th minute!
Would I love that!
Well looks like we’re playing same formation n yet again a cb at rb 🥴
