Thread: We Cannot even put out a full squad tonight

I can't answer that Supersub6, but we need to add a couple of midfielders (Pearson at Preston) for one and Trippier arriving would be the ideal boost for SD, the squad and us lot of moaning Minnie's.

I agree with you about the midfielders and a right back, however, don't include me in your pack of moaning Minnies ----I get enough of it just listening to you lot! At least it gives me a laugh, particularly in the early days of the season or after a transfer window when the doom and gloom on here is unsurpassable ---and so funny!

With all the various known unknowns Sub, like injuries, loss of form, transfers, contract disputes that will crop up, I doubt Brownhill would have been signed with a specific role in mind, just another body when needed. But I do agree with you, he wasn't signed to replace Hendrick.

And stop laughing at me !

He looks a very capable playing asset sinkov does Josh Brownhill. The players are there for the right money, we just need old tight arse to give SD a bit of wiggle room. And no more Hart's and Gibson's!

I thought Brownhill was more a replacement for Defour , who has been Released at Antwerp now.
Although i'd love us to be looking for a young pacy Right Back , I can't see it with Bardsley and Lowton both now under contract , I think the main position's for recruitment will be wingers , with Lennon going , Gudmundsson & Brady both injury prone and McNeil maybe being played more in a central role , we need new recruits on both wings.

I definitely agree we need strengthening in midfield especially with Cork ageing as well but a right back should also be a priority because neither Lowton or Bardsley are the long term solution there.

Totally agree we need a Right Back ideally , but cant see us having 3 right backs now Bardsley has signed a new deal .
Think we may look for a defensive midfielder but with Westwood , Cork , Brownhill & McNeil showing he can play central , not sure Centre Midfield will be a priority.
