    Friendlies denied

The National League has denied requests from playoff teams to play friendlies.

The League has told clubs that the ‘matchday stage’ protocols have not yet been completed.

Several clubs believe they do have the protocols in place to safely play friendlies from this week & next.

It’s a shambles. So if Notts have asked Derby for a friendly, why can’t this be allowed? Derby will already be following all the protocols. I can understand it more if Notts have asked Chesterfield for example, but somehow I doubt it.

Football authorities are proving what an absolute shambles they are at the moment. Clubs need to be getting together and demanding wholesale changes. The inability to foresee situations like this, to think on their feet and come to quick decisions is shameful. I know one-man-band businesses who have performed better. Life at the top is too easy for these buffoons.
It makes me laugh when I see subs sat up in the stand during matches then gathering on the touchline later and hugging each other. WTF is that about.
