A pity we never went for the late Keith Alexander. I'm sure he would have done well here.
Having said that, all four black managers we did employ had to work under the Trews, so three of them probably would have faired much better under semi-competent owners. Kiwomya being the obvious exception. biggest joke appointment of all time alongside Fullarton.

I wouldn't be too hard on Kiwomya, at the time he was appointed as caretaker manager he was still dealing with the loss of his seven year old son. With that in mind, Mr Trew should have looked elsewhere to replace Curle.

As for being lazy, the great Don Masson would make the ball do the work, you don't have to run around like a headless chicken to be a good player. Footballers in general have long had a reputation for being thick (Monty Python's Jimmy Buzzard sketch was 1969).
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53226508 - Wonder if our owners knew the firm that carried out the study, Denmark's like a village aint it?

The same thing goes on in american football too where the Quarterback was seen as more of a white players position and receivers and running backs are rarely white. Just like in our football though they're playing catch up and the times are changing regarding QB's, not sure there's many white running backs or receivers coming through though lol
