Simply put - because most loans only legally run until the end of the normal season (until the end of June) Leeds have sent him back or Leipzig recalled him.
As terms, conditions & clauses 'may have offered' a loan extension option after such date (June) Leeds could have declined such an option.A new contract extension offered for the Covid 19 scenario may have been offered until end of July but it would appear no extensions were done from the silent Leeds camp either way.
    Small print !

    Regarding Orta comments.
Please note Angus Kinnear is always open for a chat, coffee or cream tea to discuss your concerns by the way (but you'll be paying). https://thefsa.org.uk/news/a-little-...es-a-long-way/

I suspect, as you say, that the devil will be in the detail, something our esteemed leaders seem less than comfortable with.

As for discussing "concerns" with the great and the good, I wouldn't pi55 on Kinnear if he was on fire, never mind buy him a coffee. He was low in my estimation before the comment you were kind enough to repeat regarding the £10 saved by fans using non-conventional streams, he is now positively subterranean, not that he will give a sh1t what any fan thinks.

The current owner and directors seem pretty commercially savvy but why let that stop you having a moan eh.

Kinnear is in charge of commercial revenue do you really expect him to condone IP infringements?

Your comments sometimes seem as wide of the mark as Bamford’s shooting.

    Just saying like.

    "Pretty commercially savvy"?????

So we acquire the "services" of the lump from Leipzig and "enjoy" his contribution at the rate of rover £80k/minute played, and joyfully agree to acquire such services permanently for the mere trifle of £18m. And THAT is "commercially savvy"? Give your head a wobble.

As for Kinnears comment, maybe *given the JKA situation), he should have just kept his mouth shut.

My comments about what this board has done are absolutely on the money, (prove otherwise please) unlike our main "striker".

I seem to remember it being said that the final word on transfers is with MB.
As we are not at the top table, we have to take chances. We have been taking chances with players for many years now, most turn out bang average or worse, a few good ones tended to be sold for less than their worth… mostly it’s about fella’s who can play in front of 30K plus passionatecrowd at home and 46 cup finals per season.
On paper this transfer looked good, if it came off and he returned to form we would have potentially a top top player, and all financed by promotion.
I would assume a signing of that proportion isn't down to one man.

A 15M punt on a striker … it’s small beer to many clubs. Derby with their 100grand a week for Rooney… As long as the long term finances are not in jeopardy then I will back the board .. who seem to know what their doing

From what I see, this is the best football we have played in a long time, under a cult super hero manager,,,,,, Colin ****er/Showumni/Tongue/Brown days…long gone

January signings are always a high risk affair. Like charging a hill in combat. Odds stacked against you.

JKA was a high risk with possible high return. It didn’t work out but at least we gave it a shot

The irony would be strong if we have to sign him and he emerges as a premier level striker. We may have to find out

agreed - few articles and podcasts saying almost pointless signing players in Jan or at the end of the summer window as wont have time to learn MBs system or get fit enough to be ready to play.

JFA was the one MB wanted but he came injured got ready like poveda in lockdown and came back ready to go and got injured again. Not sure what that has to do with commercial acumen.

Radz and team have trimmed the bloated squad, improved match day areas and revenue and transformed the merchandising side. Kappa as a shirt sponsor is good and next season we are supposed to have Adidas. They seem to be pretty good compared to recent times.

Many teams have signed players in January, strengthened, freshened and then kick on to get promotion.
    Instead we..........................??
