First of all, good luck to him.
I'm not sure what would happen if he's sold. Normally we would get the agreed sell on amount but under administration would we just become another creditor? One for a lawyer.
Kipre Leaves for Wigan
Reading that Wigan are in administration. I wonder if that means selling Kipre soon (and on the cheap) which should mean a sell on % - anyone know if Wigan would have paid us in full by now for Kipre?

I believe they've paid us in full for him, according to previous accounts.
We'd also count as a football debt so we'd be in no danger of not being paid any sell-on.
It will surely hurt his price though - I've not been following him in detail but he seems to have done well enough to have earned a move. Between administration and the coronavirus making clubs tighten their belts, it'll probably cost us a fair bit.
Any sell on is a bonus if we get one I suppose, I had hoped he’d go for £10m (pipe dream maybe) and we’d get a fair chunk. Hope you’re right about the football debt - it rings a bell now you mention it
True but I think he was considered such a prospect the club very hopeful of getting a fair bit - there was talk of him becoming our record transfer which with a 20% clause (iirc), would have needed around a 4 million fee. When we sold him with English football being a basket case for fees, that was perhaps optimistic but it wasn't completely unrealistic. It is now.
We'll get what we get I guess given the current climate? And, a new addition to the world known 'Murphy's Law' ... we structure a fantastic proposed 'sell on' deal with a player we signed for peanuts, and lo n behold along comes a once in a generation fekkin pandemic. Still, we're all still alive and kicking as we speak. Ho-hum
Looks like the wolves are circling already.
