Wobbly Balls v New Nike scientific Flight ball - The winner is ............

Wobbly balls v New scientific Nike balls - Winner is the new Flight ball !

Great to hear Nikes new football has been approved after eight years of research. The new ball has a 30% truer flight than the current ball in use today.

It's secret is it has grooves on it that act like dimples on a golf ball which stop the air gripping the ball leading to a more consistent flight.
Old balls stitching created friction apparently which recently was replaced by thermal bonding and now has added 'dimples'.
No more 'knuckle ball' technique free kicks by Christian Ronaldo or Phillips then that dip & swerve but great news for keepers of all standards, ball playing technicians like Pablo and of course PB (and me for beach footie games).

So one less excuse for our abysmal scoring record (once the new balls are introduced of course!)😉

Nike declined to comment why research took so long,8 years, but thanked Paul Rachubka and Patrick Bamford for eventually being able to make actual contact with the new Flight ball albeit 7 years and 11 months into the experiment (allegedly) despite repeated regular attempts to connect with it according to a 'reliable source' from Eastleigh Hampshire.

Professor Bielsa is continuing his analysis of how to connect Mr Bamfords size 9 Pink boots to the new Nike Flight ball or indeed any ball and is hopeful to conclude all relative theory tests before the 2020/21 season transfer budget is announced (allegedly).
So great news for Forum members !

Don't worry about the covering. His best chance to make contact is they make the ball twice the size....

The new PL grooved style ball seems to be flying here, there & everywhere favouring attackers so far.

Strangely the new ball used in the German Bundesliga & French Ligue 1 leagues is un-grooved.

    Bring back the leather T-balls

Suspect the balls will fly a lot faster too. Golf ball with no dimples goes about 1/3 to 1/2 the distance of the modern golf balls.

Dimples are obviously the way for maximum performance in 2020/21.

Rugby balls now have dimples & raised star pimples for grip.

Adidas Predator Mutator 20+ has dimples & spikes & no laces.

Even the French can-can dancers now have flipping dimples at my local !
