    4 wins and 2 draws

14 points the target , 4 wins and 2 draws, with Brentford 11 goals in front at the moment. Leeds need 10 from 5 games.

I can see it going to the wire lads. If Brentford keep this run up I cant see us and Leeds matching it. We both pull away a bit then shoot ourselves in the foot.

Brentford don't look like dropping points - they really are a quality side in all positions! If they get into second place they will stay there. It's the team with the momentum that will win the play offs and my money would be on Cardiff! If we don't beat Hull who are garbage, then God help us - Derby won't be easy though as they are on a decent run.

What is our record this season against top six teams? Just one win, I believe? If that is true, it doesn’t bode well for the playoffs.

Two wins, Forest and Cardiff. Four draws, with three 1-0 losses. Agreed it could be better, but most of those games have been close, and apart from possibly Brentford at home, never been outplayed. We've been in the top two since early on, still there, still in our hands, which is all that matters for now.

Win today ...and let’s face anything less would be poor...then we restore the five gap to Brentford ....with games running out. It’s in our hands and the others would love to be in our position.

And as for our record against the top sides.....we should have beaten Forest and Leeds at our place. Was unlucky against Cardiff away. Brentford are the one team who outplayed us....but not for the entire 90 mins....we had good patches at our and their place. Maybe we were lucky to get a draw at Fulham. So we ain’t got no one to fear quality wise if it cones to the play-offs ....as most likely we won’t face Brentford or Leeds anyway...the problem would be motivation and loss of momentum having been in the top two all season.

So in conclusion....I think we do need to finish top two...otherwise I don’t see us making it....

"the problem would be motivation and loss of momentum having been in the top two all season".
THAT would be the problem. Top two it has to be.

I think Brentford will win all remaining matches.

I don’t see us winning four or five of our last six.

At present we seem to be the shakiest of the top three clubs.

It should never have come to this though, our home draws against dross sides and stupid last minute goals against such as Barnsley away are now going to potentially hurt us badly.

I can honestly say that I don’t remember ever playing in a match where I lost a result in the last minute as ones senses were so heightened in that period.

Unless it’s an absolute worldly it always infuriates me when my teams concede with virtually the last kick.

If we win today though Mick we will have done exactly what Leeds have done in their opening 4 games. That would make us as shaky as Leeds or as Good as Leeds. Take your pick.
