Can anybody see Warney's good human beings management style working, keeping players whose only use is they are good in the dressing room at any club with ambition especially in the championship. I've got more chance of winning the lotto than him getting job at Bristol C. Before anyone says anything I'm not a Warney boy never will be. I'm a horseracing man. I've not bothered since Cheltenham. When I risk my own money I study form, ratings go on what I see. Always said flat racing it's for the women in their summer dresses. I want winners.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with you but I’m sure it’s not fixable.
When I say you I mean whoever is posting.

This would have been a great job for Warnock & nearer home.Bristol City need a big experienced manager so leave Warne alone.

You are right about your defence mate, you will struggle with that defence in Division 1 some good sides still in Division .I think you need a couple of good old heads to help those young lads.

And yet since the restart we'd had 3 consecutive clean sheets .

But that's what you get with young players , inconsistency .

We've said it for the last four seasons mate , talk to any Tyke and they'll tell you the same thing that these lads need some experienced heads around them to develop far better .

I wouldn't mind so much but we've wasted a huge amount of money on some of these lads last summer and many of whom aren't that great .

    Luke Thomas £1m

    Mallik Wilks £1.2m

    Patrick Schmidt £1m

    Diaby £700k

There's nearly £4m there that could have been put to better use .

Out of the recruitment last summer only Chaplin at a £1m was the inspired buy .

The chickens have come home to roost because we'll do well next season to get in the top 6 in league one unless some of this lot improve massively .

PW has been manager of our club for three and a half seasons. In that time he has suffered two relegation's and achieved two promotions. Probably the only way TS would sack him is if we bombed in 2020 -21 season and were struggling at Christmas 2022. These facts and forecasts are however, the tip of the iceberg. Beneath, there is the fact that he has brought in a management team that, if you cut them in half would have "Millers" through the middle. That in itself is not enough , but the fact that at least 3 of his team are excellent in their own field and utilise modern football techniques says a lot. Add to the the sometimes maligned "good guys" policy does ensure a bonding within the club.

That given, I go along with the notion that Warne would probably only be swayed by an offer from Norwich, or a stupid monitory offer from someone. And yes he is good enough to manage a bigger club, but would need time and a patient chairman.

PW is such a good fit that he’s become a specialist part of the machine. A part that would be difficult to be used in any other machine.

He’s not flameproof though and should the club change Chairman then PW could be history.

Meanwhile, he’s good for us, so let’s be happy with that.
