    Well, Thoughts now

So after all the negativity on here lately, people understandably nervous after last year, we must all be positive now, 5 games to go sitting pretty at the top, ( We have been in the top 2 all season by the way),

Yesterday after a few jittery moments we controlled the game, Douglas was very good to say he hasnt played much,

Are we going to do it?, Of course we are..

Will be feeling a little better if West Brom drop some points today Pete.

I think we are Pete. The fixtures on paper also favour us so I’m still confident enough.

Weird not being there though and the lack of atmosphere is eerie

I think another 3 points against Stoke will settle the team down. Bambi seems to have found his scoring boots, which is just as well as we don't have any other out and out strikers, at least that Bielsa trusts. Klich was back on form again and I was also impressed by Douglas. At some point Brentford will slip as they have to win games all the time. At least we are guaranteed a play off place ( well it is Leeds!!!!)

I suspect that we thought much the same after the Fulham match (during which, regarding the whole game, I believe we played better than yesterday against (arguably) a better side than Blackburn).

We were fortunate that Blackburn had a goal disallowed when there was a (Very) light touch during the attack and we got a free kick, very soft. They hit the bar, and Kilch's goal could have been disallowed on any other day given that Alioski was offisde and in line of sight between Klich and goalie. Take those as the kind of thing that happens to us usually (and we know what the results of those "things" usually are) it could have been a very different result.

Bamford, shooting from the egde of the box, and scoring! Where did that come from? Equally the "bend it like Beckham" set piece strike by Phillips, what bag of tricks has he been hiding that one in, and why???? Overall we deserved the win, if only to balance out some of the appalling decisions from officials that have cost us dear in the past!

Stoke, Barnsley and Charlton will be hard, they are all vulnerable to/destined for relegation, Swansea are probably too far away from playoffs and certainly relegation to have anyything tangible to play for (apart from beating us of course!). As others have said, the crux of it all might be the Derby game, unless of course we have won everything beforehand and can't be caught!

If we put more of our chances away I would have said it's a nailed on certainty, however we dont, so will be edgy until it is mathematically impossible for us to fall into 3rd place.

That being said, there is not a single fixture left that should cause us any alarm.
