As fine a reflex keeper as I’ve seen in our shirt.
But he didn't come through the ranks. Signed in 77 from Ashford Town and played all 42 games.

Best of my knowledge the only Albion GK in my time who has progressed thro the youth team and reserves to be a regular first choice is the man who was between the sticks in my first Albion match Tony Millington. And that was for less than 1/2 a season.

    Gloves anyone?

Only a person in a nut asylum would not see Gayle is twice the player of HRK and Foster is twice the keeper of Johnstone. If and a big if come our promotion players like this will be discarded otherwise we will come straight back down with a thud!

PS - did you see no wrong in Ricky Lambert or Tony Godden as well?
How old are you? You seem so sure of yourself. 20’s maybe?

Almost treble it!!! I tell it as it is - did you see Benrahma tonight again? HRK or any of our two other strikers are second rate compared to him! As for Johnstone - come on the majority of West Brom supporters think he’s a liability and second rate compared to Foster!

Wish I could paint a lovely picture but that’s how it is.

Why can’t you be balanced? Don’t you realise that all the other teams supporters complain about their players and look at ours enviously? They all do it. We have players that do a job. A good job. Like HRK. Bilic sees it, you don’t. Because you know better obviously. You have so much more vast experience. We are 2nd in the league and despite not having Benrahma we are the second highest scorers. Why should I complain? Why should you? But you do relentlessly. It’s like a disease.

good shout, hes a class keeper, needs confidence and a run of games, he did get a bit big headed, has a point to prove now and wont ask a lot wages wise (in comparison)

I agree, Benrahma was v good, Watkins scores for fun, they look solid throughout the middle of their team, the 2 CBs looked solid too

I can still remember being stood in the BRE watching Godden in possession of the ball rolling it out only for Dalglish to nip in and score. Great reflexes for a keeper but poor concentration levels I thought but playing in a very good team helped his cause

Particularly with that central defensive pair of Wile and Robertson, who won most things in the air
