    Government sanctions

Bbc reporting that the government has announced a new list of sanctions. They include sanctions against the people involved with the death of that "journalist" in Turkey.
They haven't listed any names yet, does anyone know if it's the Saudi prince?

They have listed names. Nobody from PIF or MBS himself is on the list. Mainly military personnel from Saudi.

Absolutely not - There will never be a time in the entire recorded history of the UK that a crown prince of Saudi Arabia will be on any list other than the 'Welcome in, meet the Queen & spend some money' list!

You have an argument there but the people who actually run the country (no not the politicians) would never allow a guy like Corbyn become PM. I is the last time I will vote seeing as I've not lived in the UK for almost a decade and with no plans to return to live in the British Isles I don't think it's my place to weigh in on home country politics.

Suffice to say that the next gov should be a Labour gov lead by Starmer, he isn't gonna black list the Oil billionaires so I can't see any kind of sanctions against the Saudis.

The first port of call will be against Russian billionaires due to their links to Russian federation and dubious influence they have on Elections etc.

Saudi are a friend to the UK.

Quite! Starmer is a neo liberal like Major, Blair, Cameron and Johnson.

    The deal is going through.

These sanctions are just the government pulling a Mike Ashley and brining in a loan signing on deadline day. Just so they can say, LOOK! SEE! we did do something in the transfer market so you all can’t complain that no action was taken.

Isn't it just a rehash of the other day?

But yeh, it's good to see the very public line that we (the UK) Welcome saudi investment.
