    Ben Stokes to miss the remainder of the season. Family reasons...had to fly back to NZ where his parents live.
    His Dad was very ill not long ago...hope he’s okay. Buttler’s father was also in hospital during the last Test.

    Cricket takes second place but it poses some interesting selection quandaries and maybe a reprieve for one of Archer and Jimmy.

    Crawley for Stokes and Leach for Bess for me.

    We are one up, play for two draws... Crawley and Foakes for Stokes and Anderson Leach for Bess, get Root bowling more: his batting has been poor by his standards.

    Their batting not great, 4 bowlers and a bit of Root should be enough
