Thank the lord the season is nearly over!!

Not that I’m that enthused about next season in league 1 again, whenever it starts.

What a disaster from day 1 this season has been though eh? A pathetic pre season in terms of player recruitment, sticking rigidly to this spreadsheet nonsense and completely dismantling the spine of the team! Whether or not we could have done anything about the sales of Pinnock and Moore, you don’t replace them with European lower league youngsters with little to no experience whatsoever!

This Struber guy seems alright, but much prefer Stendal, yes his tactics were questionable at the latter end of his Barnsley career, but he wasn’t given the tools to do the job, he should still be here in my opinion. I fully expect Struber to leave at the end of the season, so back to square 1 we go, another foreign import, or Martin Devaney, how inspiring.

I agree apart from the Martin Devaney bit. If we had more Martin Devaneys involved we might get some feeling, identity and moral ethics back that this club is so desperately lacking.

Instead we have a load of mercenaries running the club and an uninspiring head coach who the board have to quote "pursued for a long time" I dunt think he even wants to be here if the truth be told, we are probably just a stepping stone in his eyes and it shows. I just can't take to the man and this is after 8 months but to be fair he's not done too bad under the circumstances. I thought we'd be officially relegated by now and we're still clinging on, just about but it's only a matter of time before the inevitable happens.

Let's face it, even if we stay up we only have more of the same to look forward to because our best players will be sold. That's all we do. It's grim.

They needed at least 4 points from the stoke luton games to give them a decent chance 1 point achieved that was the final nail in the coffin the remaining games are immaterial

Choked in all the key games this season. Luton at home lost 1-3 and drew 1-1 away. Charlton drew 2-2 home lost 2-1 away. Stoke lost 2-4 at home, lost 4-0 away. Reading drew 1-1 at home and lost 2-0 away. Huddersfield shared the points. Lost 0-1 at home to Birmingham.

It's down to the bottle of the players for me.
