    How to save £1M

Don't get promoted. If we go up this season Posh get a £1M bonus from the Marriiott deal.

Wouldn't bother Derby to give Posh the 1 million as it would mean we've been promoted and got an extra 90 million in the bank!

Peterborough has just been voted the #1 ‘crap town’ in the UK. To compound their misery I’d suggest they forget this £1m too.

I used to go there frequently in the 70s and always found the place very friendly. It must have changed beyond recognition.

Those voting have obviously never been to Swindon, the place that is shut from 18:00 each evening. That quote is from an old friend who lived there.............

I thought the same about Huddersfield, MA...but that was #2 on the list.

Peterborough was the only non-northern one...in descending order the others were Rochdale, Doncaster, Hull, Rotherham, Blackpool, Castleford, Oldham and Blackburn. Strangely Nottingham avoided a mention.

I went to Bolton once in the 1970s, Liverpool a couple of times, Newcastle for work: that's about it
