Interestingly he was going to put it towards his ST and 2 OAP ones ,he’s not the kind of guy who gets upset but he’s totally raging about the blatant bs that’s getting spouted ,I will always try and back the club up but if they are holding funds for no viable reason then if he doesn’t renew I totally understand as he rarely goes anyway with his shifts but buys one anyway like plenty others....

It’s unfortunate your mate can’t get a refund, but the club can’t pay out money it doesn’t have, it isn’t just Dundee’s insurance claim that’s being contested, more than one insurance company is going to court,

The club made up all the players wages in full from the furlough, they gave out of contract players an extra month because it was deemed the right thing to do, now they ask players to take a cut of 15 to 25% wages for three months they are ridiculed, they just can’t win

They can win. Just announce that J N is taking a wage cut first. Then ask the players and staff to follow that lead. Also don't announce that you were dead clever sorting out the best insurance possible, then spend the next two months ripping people off and blaming it on covid, and the best insurance in the world not actually paying out.

It's not really about the money though,it's about the PR and how everything has been handled. It's not as bad as Hibs, but it's far from great

Thad kinda what I was thinking it just looks really bad , the guy certainly doesn’t need the money but he said he would never treat his customers that way,I’m going to suggest he goes in again and argues what their standpoint is regards an insurance claim cause I don’t think that have one certainly not from 29th February...be interesting to see what happened if he said he was looking at renewing ST’s...

Your hatred of him clouds your judgement.

I don't hate him, I hardly know him. I just think he keeps making stupid mistakes. Mistakes that with a little thought could have been avoided.

The game was never played due to the Covid cancellation of matches so is very much part of the insurance claim. It was rescheduled for after the lockdown. Tickets for rearranged fixture were valid for rearranged match at end of March

Ah never thought of that,I didn’t bother with a refund for my tickets after the club said they were doing what they could to help out staff(before the whole insurance fiasco) ,that all makes sense though still looks bad on the club I think irrespective of the situation,if this was for a family struggling at the moment ...different scenario.
