I did post the following on another thread last year:
I live in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. The Province as well as a few others is under Lockdown, i.e cannot leave or enter the Provinces, all public transport , flights and Chinese New Year public gatherings etc. have been suspended. The advice from the Chinese Government is to "Stay indoors, close all windows, do not use A/C, wear a face mask at all times until further notice".
The reasons that I'm writing this are because I'm bored, being secluded in my room for days and as a warning, if needed, do not come to China for a holiday, work etc. until the virus has been contained, eradicated or a vaccine is developed.

That's about ten times you've told us this, you definitely are bored.. Anyway who the phook wants to go to China it's run by a set of horrible communists who between them started this disease off in the first place.. They should be made to pay reparation to the world for what they have done..

    Exactly Norder

Watched a programme last week and it said unless you had the proper filter version it was a waste of time as the virus 🦠 was smaller than a pin head and can pass through the material if someone transfers it onto your mask, whilst I understand to a point when you read that you think , also said as you alluded to re breathing in your carbon monoxide can’t be healthy.

Exactly Army, this virus is so small that a face covering has as much chance of restricting transmission of this virus as a chain-link fence has of keeping a mosquito out of your house. And the government knows this, their own official advice tells you that a face covering offers it's wearer no protection at all.

So what's it all about then ?

    .

From Gov UK: 6.1 Face coverings.

So, whats it about - Coercive control - which is a punishable offence !

"victims who experience the type of behaviour that stops short of serious physical violence, but amounts to extreme psychological and emotional abuse, can bring their perpetrators to justice"

    .

we're being micro managed by restrictions - where release back to a sort of normal can only be attained by adherence to another even greater infringement on our personal freedom - like, a so-called Vaccine !

That's the Government advice Norder, on whether a face mask will stop you passing the virus on, their advice on whether it protects the wearer says, " the evidence suggests that wearing a face covering does not protect you". In other words wearing one is virtually pointless.

Boris is now saying that the expert advice has been changing over the past few months and he's having a re-think. Yet the advice above was issued on June 23rd in a policy document for Restaurants, Pubs, Hairdressers etc that opened on July 4th, just 9 days ago. That advice is about as current and up to date as you're likely to get. So what's changed in the last couple of weeks ? I think we should be told.

The evidence suggests that wearing a face covering does not protect you, but it may protect others if you are infected and have not developed symptoms.

sad see-through propogandist twots they are - Wearing one wont protect you - and wearing one wont protect others - but....they may protect us from our own uncertainty - Therefore, is absolutely nothing to do with wearing masks for safety - it's a fear appeal - to arouse suspicion, to agitate, distort perception and divide us with a unknown threat that manipulates folk into falling in line behin the then "recommended behaviour".

to Hell with them - Thrice !

£100 fine for not masking up: Police are to hand out on-the-spot penalties for anyone not wearing a face covering in shops when it becomes compulsory from July 24
