    No extra time

Some National League managers disagree with the decision to scrap extra time for the playoffs.

In a change to the usual format, games will go straight to penalties if they’re level after 90 minutes.

What's the justification for the change?
All I could pick up was potential for injuries for players not ready for 120mins. If so, I'm not convinced.
The tie should have a chance to be concluded in a more sporting way - and that is 30 minutes of more football, even golden goal, before a penalty shoot out.

Instead of penalty shoot outs, why not just toss a coin? It makes as much sense!

Not having extra time might actually make the games better towards the end as games that are level with 15-20min to go will need both teams to go for it, or risk the lottery of a shootout. Whereas the usual method of extra time means that sometimes the tempo can die down towards the end of normal time as teams look to focus on getting that extra 30 min.

    'might'
or it could just bring that dead, playing for penalties part of the game forward. You could see home teams really going for it from 50 to 70 min mark and then being cautious from there to avoid being hit by sucker punch. It'll be interesting to see
