Of course he has favoured experience, Champs.
He was trying to get us to the play-offs.
The fact is, without Dack, it was always going to be a struggle.
He brought in players with PL experience as a short-term measure, because many of the Academy graduates were deemed to be not quite ready. Johnson and Barr acknowledged that as well.
The Championship is a battle between many even teams. This season, the bottom three don't even look significantly worse than the rest.
I don't know where you get this assumption that WE should be different! Why?
We used seven Academy graduates against Reading. That might well be the way forward, but you can bet your bottom dollar that if we rely on youth next season, and struggle, it will be Mowbray's fault!

Much the same if we had a great season next year, it would be all be down to Mowbray. That's why guys like him earn a brilliant wage and have a fantastic job doing what they love. Don't feel sorry for any of them, they amass more money than me and you will ever see. And he was never a top player, or top manager.

I reckon we could do with him as a centre-back, now, though!
Just the tough, abrasive type we need.

Yeah, your right. We could do with that stalwart centre half type to play next to Lenihan (if he stayed)

I feel tosin worked well alongside with lenihan because it was like chalk and cheese.
A ball playing defender alongside a no nonsense player.
We need another tosin from somewhere unfortunately they dont come along at our level that often.
