    Forest v Swans

Our next match is Nottingham Forest, this evening at 18:00, and it’s a must win game for the Swans after Cardiff beat Derby 2-1 last night to go 4 points ahead of us.
Derby conceded two soft goals, a suicidal back pass and a Rooney blunder.
Millwall leapfrogged us in the table with a 1-0 win over Blackburn, who just could not break down a resolute Millwall defence once they’d gone ahead.
    Forest last 6 games - W2 D3 L1 F7 A5, last time out a 1-1 draw at Preston.

Sad one. So close but so far away. Ameobi given too much space for his two long range goals, just like Hernandez on Saturday.
We’ve more than matched the top six teams in this division. Where we’ve gone wrong is slipping up at home to the likes of bottom teams Luton and Stoke. Too many points dropped against the mediocre teams unfortunately.

Looks as if it’s all over then, Ameobi given two free shots at goal and us knowing Forest score a high percentage of their goals this way, where was the marking. Mulder a poor substitute for Woodman, could have done better for both goals. What was he doing right at the end, strolling back to kick the ball out when we were desperate to try and score.

Slipped up against the bottom sides and it’s cost us a play off place. Matched Leeds, Forest and Millwall last few games. Two wins now and see if the others slip up, that’s all we can do.

I think Forest were happy with the draw at the end after twice coming from behind to equalise. For us we just can’t hold on to a lead, this time it was the poor marking of Ameobi, renowned for his long range shots, a weak tackle by Hoorn who is not match fit, and basic goalkeeping errors by a nervous Mulder.
