Makes sense given the European-wide deadline but tough on the Championship clubs who now need to have all their 'summer' business done weeks before the league season is due to start. Adapting the loan rules to include them is fair and could also give us a slightly better chance to get some people off the books/game time if a couple of teams realise they're not quite where they want to be by Oct 6...
