The Cambridge manager, Mark Bonner, has a couple of youth team games behind him. The new assistant manager, Gary Waddock has 3 or 4 hundred league games behind him, has been a manager and assistant manager many times over.

How can Bonner, when United are trailing 3-0, tell Waddock, or any senior pro with hundreds of football league games behind them at half time, that they are getting it wrong?

It cant be done. As a serious beginner to being a manager he will get things wrong, but can he be told? Most if not all managers fail in their first jobs, and second as a rule.

This is going to be entertaining, a bit like the christians being fed to the lions. And im not mentioning Waddock setting up Bonner to fail, as he is waiting to take over. That depends though on who he is.

Bonner is a nice bloke, bright as a button. When he gets fired he should get a job at conference south level, the players and staff would look up to him, and learn the ropes there.

Not down, as at Cambridge. How long will he last,?, give it six months to a year.
