Charlton earned a point against a strong Wigan side after going behind with Macauley Bonne scoring in the third minute of stoppage time. Charlton's first goal was scored by Alfie Doughty who is turning into a bright prospect with an excellent volley.

Luton Town beat Hull City today to leave Charlton and Luton on 48 points but with the Add1cks one place above them and outside the relegation zone with a much better goal difference. So it really goes down to the wire next Wednesday and whether Charlton remain in the Championship depends on other results going their way or at least a point against Championship Champions Leeds. Wigan are also appealing against a 12 point deduction, which if it goes ahead will affect the bottom 3 placings.

Congratulations to Leeds on their promotion to the Premiership and a successful return there.

Charlton goals: Doughty 11, Bonne 93

Wigan goals: Lowe 9, Dowell 39
