As a club we should give him a year extension, help him with his rehab and make sure he finds a club after next season.

This is a guy who in all honesty is limited talentwise but bit like Andrew Hughes makes up for it with sheer effort, passion and determination.

He was the one who stood up when those spineless Italian cowards refused to play and would have none of it.

Yes he is a football on a good salary, but that finance doesn't last forever and a year out without a club means he has to fund his own medical care, a year out with no club after ACL surgery would make it very difficult for him to find a new club a year from now also.

Do whatever we can, even if it is just reduced terms so he is on our books and we take care of his rehab with our guys at LUFC. His sheer attitude and presence around the club when we are in PL will be a bonus. Once hes fit he can play with the U23s prove himself and get himself a contract somewhere else. Then maybe we get that final sendoff Berardi deserves at end of next season with him on the pitch and all of us in the stands.

Agree with Joel. I think his commitment can never be questioned.

Seems behind the closed doors of ER loads of players have spoke highly of him.

I'd like him to get a years extension. Look what the club did for Siaz after the problems he had.

Why? I said I was sorry for his injury did I wish he was dead>All I said was he ain't good enough and won't be missed on the field. Aren't you the one that says different people different opinions.
And yes of course the club should look after him for all his deficiencies he gave his all.
