Yes but you seem to be mainly focused on his clubs form. He obviously knew they weren't going to be challenging at the other end of the table when he signed and will be hoping that eventually he will get a sustained run in the team and can halt their poor form. You've been calling his move a disaster from pretty much the get go? I'm saying give him a chance. He could still perform well himself and earn himself a better move down the line, then it's not a disaster at all.

Have I? I'm sure we both just agreed that I was saying the opposite a few weeks ago? Now, after watching Beerschots results every week and the lack of game time the manager is giving Shankland, I've changed my mind. Today in fact is the first day I've said the move has turned into a disaster.

My mistake, but I did actually ask you had you said the same thing a few weeks ago and you said yes.

My mistake then, I've misread your question. I was indeed saying the opposite a six weeks ago. I haven't commented much on the subject other than saying it was a bizarre move due to his manager knowing nothing about him until 2 weeks before he signed.

Fair enough. I still hope it all works out for him, would hate to see him playing for Neilson next season.

He didn't feature in yesterday's 0-0 against Leuven - watched the whole game from the bench.

A real chance for them yesterday as Leuven are almost as bad. A point is better than nothing I guess. Four subs made and he wasn't one of them. I wonder what he's thinking? What a nightmare for the boy.

The way way are starting to play would have suited Shanks, maybe should try and get him back on loan for the season
