yep aloreburn im dreading to think what quality queens will have this season ,everyone of our rival clubs in the league look to be signing even stronger teams than thay had last season ,we will never know until magic starts his recruitment ,the not knowing anything and the waiting is the worst part for me .

the diff is truthhurts the fans took action against wullie back then ,id say hewitson in recent times has been worse for us than harkness ,yes hes had a hand in giving us the kgv and arena but where are we in the whole with all this other added income that harkness or davie rae never had at there disposal ,we all know queens have the fan base to run at a much higher level ,queens average about 3000 or there abouts when things are going well and when looking in a forward direction we have seen this when dave rae had queens chomping at the bit to get into the topflight ,if only he had this income from the arena ,kgv and the palmy pitch at that time the save our south would never have happened and who knows how big we would be by now ,we all should know well at least i know what the benchmark is to get the fans chomping at the bit again to come watch queens ,fans wont come back first so we have the cash to move forward ,only success and ambition first then the fans get excited again is the order that needs to happen ,i want to see queens in the bigtime challenging the very best week in week out as i hope every other queens fan wants for the club ,atm queens are stuck in a rut with average crowds of between 800 and 1500 as a result of poor squads on the park ,this wont entice the fan base queens have to attend .

Reserve team manager Willie Gibson (35) looking to continue his playing career once the pandemic clears up a bit. Good article in Dumfries Courier on Willie's life in football so far.

Disappointed that two of Queens most consistent performers over the past few seasons, Mercer and Murray have departed Dumfries. At least they'll be playing in the division below Queens in League One.
