I think if we stay up we have a chance of keeping jack and give him an offer he cant refuse. We have the money.

Bongo, did you see the i terview after the Arsenal game? He was asked if it was his ladt game at villa park as a villa player, he was taken aback, his voice breaking and mumbled, I don't know, my main aim is to keep this club in the premier League..

    "This club"
If you saw him at the end of the game he slumped to the pitch with his hands over his face, he had to be helped up.

He's off mate but will score the winner first on Sunday 😏

It’s not about money any more. We all want him to stay but if he has any ambition to achieve all he can he needs to play with better players.

We could have lost him two years ago but have been lucky to see him stay for those two years. As long as he goes to a top four team or perhaps abroad he would go with my blessing.

Its Time, I'm pretty sure its not about Money, he is on the Verge of an England call up, pity he did not get this while playing for us!
He needs the next level, CL and England, For this reason, I think Mings will follow him!
We just have to use the money wisely.
He will always be a Legend✌

Firstly shouldn’t this thread be called the neutral gender bigger than most lady sings ? 😂

Second yes I think we can stay up and ebb if jack plays his part as he’s been quality last few games no proper villa fan will begrudge that big move cos like others say he deserves it and needs it, just hope he don’t go to warm the bench and play in the cup

Does he need it though? were starting to look like a decent team again. A few good additions and we could well become a top 8 team again

He does need it Bongo, in a top side he will blossom as teams then can't afford to double up on him - he is a very good player who could have an amazing career.

Oh and we're not safe from relegation!

I wouldn't be surprised if he left and i would get it. However this reminds me of when mon took over. Add a few good players like Young and Carew transformed our team. We already had some good ones like Barry Laursen Bouma Angal Melberg. Like now we have Mings Konza Luis Grealish Mcginn Heaton Trez.
We were the 5th highest spenders in europe last summer. Im expecting the same again.

The spending plans depends on what type of club we aspire to be Bong, to follow the likes of Chelsea when Abramovitch took over or City OR build steadily over time. We are run by shrewd businessmen who are not Villa fans and they have already put in a lot of cash, they won't see that as sustainable regardless of their substantial wealth.

With the late finish to the season one thing for sure is there isn't much time to wheel and deal before we get going again unless there are some changes to the transfer window.
