Will the Fat Lady be singing?

Well she was gargling before the game, getting ready and all that but, she may not be needed? We still need a result to be sure but cannot see either Bournemouth or Watford getting a draw let alone a win but then again, listening to the so called commentators last night, we should have lost, they gave us no chance at all. They were left eating some king of pie out of a bowl!!
The Team now should be full of confidense, its going to be a cagey one, stick or twist type of game. Don't want to lose but a win would be perfect, can we, could we? What type of West Ham Will turn up, will they be busting a gut to try and relegate us or trying out a few youngsters? They are safe, Dont worry about the maths, at worst there would have to be a 15 goal swing for them to be in trouble!

Yes, how are we all feeling this morning. As a Villa fan not often you wake up with that memory from the night before. It will all be for nought though if we don’t finish the job on Sunday. I have a suspicion that Bournemouth will get a result at goal shy Everton and Watford could at least get a draw against Arsenal. One more boys. UTV.

No way will Watford get a result v Arsenal, they will be smarting and the players playing for their place at Wembley.
Bournemouth may get a draw which wont be enough.

This is where your Manager comes in, he needs a game plan. 0-0 ht, if both other teams are lising, hang on for the point. If Bournemouth are winning then, he has no choice but to go 2 up top and gamble.
I really hope the Ammers get a point at utd later..

A mix of amazed that we actually beat Arsenal, esctatic that we played so well, and shocked and delighted that we are still in with a chance, but scared to hope too, as if we don't make it after that win, it's going to be really hard ... But I do and I will. I think we'd all pretty much almost accepted our downwards fate after the Everton match, and then "whoosh!" Villa took us all on another little ride to the exciting dizzy heights again!

Ive got that horrible niggly feeling about Bournemouth and Everton too, and am just praying Arsenal want to go for it! I'm relieved that West Ham are properly safe now with that point that TD wished for above, so am hoping they will be nursing hangovers come Sunday, and will be in bucket and spade mode. I think Antonio needs a rest.

Dave, I think you need to escort the fat lady over to the Tavern for Sunday lunch, open a bottle of wine, and charm her so much that she forgets all about the match. Then you can be the gentleman and call her a taxi home. Our fate is in your hands. No pressure.

Ahhh the lovely feeling you get from a great win, Sunday can't come quick enough - hopefully the fat lady stays quiet and the fat bellied geordie troll goes back under the Tyne bridge.

I was so sure we would lose to Arsenal I'm no longer sure of anything! What does give me optimism is our record against the bottom half teams is pretty good so provided Watford don't do the unthinkable at Arsenal a point will be enough.

It’s mad, we could win, and still go down!!! Win by a goal and we’re 37 points -25. Watford win by 3 and they’re 37 points -24. Bl00dy crazy situation.

Let’s hope Arsenal don’t lose to 2 sh1t teams on the bounce. Then there’s Bournemouth, waiting in the wings if ourselves and Watford lose.

The Villa to stay up, I just don’t know how?

Nerves and luck or lack of it and dare I say Var will have a say. All we can say is the lads must be full of confidence with our mini 3 match unbeaten run. Along with that, WHU are now completely safe, so you could ask, will they be up for another fight. I think we will take the game to them and hopefully get a goal and defend like Lions again.
As we know anything can happen and Im sure the bogrolls are waiting in the wings incase it goes pearshaped but will Watford win or even draw with Arsenal, i have to say no, the gooners came in for some still and will love to send Watford down. Can Bournemouth get a result at Everton, yes, this is the one to worry about so, all we need to do is match or better their result. A nervy afternoon but out the 3, we are the ones showing some form and Don't forget its Jacks last game for us, he will want to go out with a bang and captain us to safety, leaving us in the prem and 80 mill richer is not a bad way to part.
I am confident but would not bet my house on it.
