    Date of deal

Hi lads, i was just wondering what was the actual date the news broke about the Saudies agreeing to purchase us? March or April? And is there any precedent for taking this amount of time to ok new owners? This just seems ridiculous to me to not be able to make a decision one way or the other after this much time. Cheers

JAN Feb way way to long to even really remember. Could Ashley or our potential new owners take the Premier League to court if this runs into to transfer window? I don't know how these things work but to me and everyone else the Prem have had more than adequate time to sort this out and give us an answer and for whatever reason they simply aren't doing so. Surely if they let it run into a fresh transfer window with things the way they are Ashley the Saudis or even both could launch some sort of appeal for them to sort sh1t out ASAP.

To be honest, if the PL block this, I'd be happy for the Saudis and/or fatso to take them to court and absolutely ruin them. Wouldn't care about the consequences.

Saw the title and thought it was a prediction thread. I am going for September 2nd.
Long enough for them to feck us over but passing it just in time to avoid legal action by PCP and/or Ashlie

Im going for August 3rd announcement, season has ended, no conflicting sponsorship with Man Utd, privately the deal will be signed off on July 31st and will take the weekend to transfer funds.

total hopefull guesswork mind, could be a month later
