OT JCB open new HQ in Cologne.

The new £50 million JCB Germany HQ is 'one of the biggest investments in company history'

Lord Bamford said: "Europe has been a very significant market for JCB since the 1950s and this facility is a great example of our investment in future growth.

"JCB has operated in Germany for more than 50 years and it is a crucial market for JCB because it is Europe’s second largest construction equipment market and the fifth largest in the world. This investment will help JCB deliver sales growth in the years ahead."

Brexiteers Rees Mogg moved his company to Dublin, Dyson moved his business to Singapore and Bamford to Cologne. Am I missing something?

This is a new German HQ according to the piece.

It’s a global brand with 22 factories around the world.

I suspect that you are missing that the British public were given a choice and voted to leave. And we have left.

I voted remain and have no regrets, but a majority of my fellow citizens made a different choice.

I'd forgotten about Brexit. I doubt if anyone has the slightest idea of the longer term economic and social impact of coronavirus. It's unlikely to be good.

The Remainers are now the lockdown/ mask fanatics/ BLM supporters.

New things for them to feel superior and puffed-up with virtue about.

I'm a mask fanatic but hardly a BLM supporter.

They've been mandatory in Spain for the last 3 weeks.

Spain has just gone back into lockdown.

The only masks that block viruses are FFP3 and to a lesser extent FFP2, and they have to be properly fitted to a close-shaven face. And the government says these should be reserved for the NHS/ key workers.
