Oh yes those days, jumpers for goal posts and Hunter snapping at yer legs!! The game is very different and I for one am glad we dont see tackles like there used to be, however, a defender should still be able to defend and block crosses or stop a man going past him.

So there lack of defensive ability makes them a liability imo Bogle was a very good player when Keogh as telling him when to go when to get back ,where to stand But since Keogh went he's been lost

Hadn’t thought of that, mista. The decline in Bogle does seem to have coincided with the ‘disappearance’ of Keogh.
We sometimes forget how young he is...just 20 today I think...and how much he still has to learn, but I still sometimes think he has a brighter future in midfield than as a fullback.

Your right Mista, but I guess if any of our players could do the right things consistently they would be playing at a higher level than with Derby, theres a reason some players command tens of millions in transfer fees.

A settled back four with some steel in their attitude is the key, whether we will get that remains to be seen.
