    Dental implants

How on earth does anyone voluntarily get cosmetic surgery and the like?

One and a half hours to go until my appointment to have two dental implants fitted and I’m s’hiteing masel.

Well, nae quite, I’ll put a brave face on and just stroll round to the dentist but I’d rather be going to the pub.

No ridiculous Hollywood White smile for me, these will be back teeth.

I won’t read any replies until I get back, you bunch of b’astards are bound to come out with some horror stories.

DD, I have a crown right at the front and it's knackered. The root bit is split, so it's crown no more.
Long term.....take it to the bridge, but as there's nae drilling or sh1t just now, I'm looking at a temporary plate.

Anyway, my question is, do you need a root to get an implant?
If I could get an implant just now I'd go for that rather than waiting for a bridge.

These things are drilled directly into the jaw.

It’ll last to my day of reckoning anyway.

It’s going to be great once it’s all done, 2 implants = 3 teeth.

No doubt more to do one this is over, I’m a victim of the dredded “school dintist” and the massive fillings done in the early seventies have eventually given up the ghost.

For the benefit of the younger lads, I grew up in the sixties when the government line was “ feed your kids sugar, it gives them energy “

Aye, as well as the front nasher I have two molars that's bitten the dust and one that is on life support.
Similar tales of school dintist butchery.

I need to do a full scale dental audit once we're back to normal.

Combine it with a trip to Budapest.

Implants are for millionaires in Scotland.
