Also our defence was top 10 post Covid, There was only the utd game that tore us apart!
    Sheff utd 0-0
    Newcastle 1-1
    Palace 2-0
    Arsenal 1-0
    Everton 1-1
    Weat Ham 1-1
    Chelsea 1-2
    Man U 0-3
    Liverpool 0-2
    Wolves 0-1

    2 wins 4 Draws 4 defeats
    For 7 Against 11
    GD -3

Although thats not brilliant, it represents a 50% improvement and against all the top sides, the 0-3 to manure, was for me the anomoly, they should not have had that pen and with their cheating heads up we probably should have gone in HT 0-0.

Anyway, the point is we did improve, Everton got lucky and a fluke v WHU, yes we also had the rub of the green v SU but easily could have come out even on the old GD?
Our defence can learn, we have Engels to come back, its the GK thats concerns me, Heaton won'y be fit for the start of the season, Riena has gone back so we have Nyland🙄
We need a good strong goalkeeper as our number 1.
So the after lockdown results just may have been better than Ted Bundy's Defence afterall 🤫

We do have Steer too remember! I'm hearing Bournemouth are interested in Scott Hogan. Could see a swap deal plus cash for Calum Wilson. They would be a real coup! (we pay the cash, just to be clear haha)

Sarr does not want to leave London, west sham look favourites. DON'T want Wilson, sorry i'm not a fan!
Let them have Hogan, Samatta and Jota for nothing!
