Yeah Dave, on the day, some Journo claimed that he had a 18m release clause, the same bloke, 10 mins later, retracted the statement. He then went on to claim it was around 25m, or 50m for both Watkins and Benrahma.
The selling Club will quite rightly try and get the best deal. Brentfords’s new stadium was 70m, so they’ll want to get as close as possible to that mark. Can’t blame them really.
Plenty of rumours flying around now about Watkins, Cash, Rashica, Wilson, Benteke for 8m. You name them, we’re after them.
