Seems unlikely Paul is throwing brass abart like Rishi Sunak when we dunt know our league and income next season.
Poster close to the club on BBS seemed pretty confident we'd have nothing to worry about regarding Wigan's appeal and he's been pretty quiet since :S

I can't see any way they are offering 1mill + for him who's goal record doesn't look anything, if they have that much which I doubt they'd be better scouting the prem and championship off loads

We will probably get him for £1.8m in my opinion plus a sell on fee to cover the £2m asking price and a bonus if he scores a number of goals .

Various ways around this but if the will is there then you'd imagine we'd be on it .

If the data says he's good for 16 championship goals then in all honesty £2m is a snip in my opinion .

You either believe in your own model or you don't .

16 Championship goals makes him a 6 to £8m footballer in old money , meaning pre covid rates .

Dunt worry about Dykes. Other clubs are just waiting to see what fee we agree, match it then offer him £5k pw more.
    He ain't coming here.

Ev wi signed Kone yit ?

I recall all this "record bid" stuff last summer wi Kone, our No 1 Target.

Surely it can't be annual media pillakin to keep fans happy.

Is it just me that's noticed when we are flogging a player it's done and dusted in a day .

When we are trying to bring someone in its a fecking soap opera .

There is a perpetual frost in Chien's inside coat pocket, it is so cold in there his hands freeze on touching his wallet and his hands become unable to move. The only cure is a gradual thaw caused by gradually adding more and more heated money from player sales into the pocket. Until the frozen hand is able to move to dislodge the wallet there will be little action on incoming players.
