Shezza! sounds good! i´ll bet Ian Baird could still do a better job than Bamford n´all.

I genuinely wonder if Bamford will ever play for us again. I guess he might get some sub time at the end of games if they're fully lost or won at that point. If/when we get the two strikers we're after, it'll leave him without much chance you would think.

Feel sorry for him, as he seems a genuine nice guy, and I would say he has tried hard, unfortunately he is not an instinctive goalscorer, of which we need 2 of, also there is no sentiment in the cut and thrust of the premier league, actually there is none in football.

Don't know what will happen Wood didn't look any better than Bamf and he plays premier football. He will start no matter who we sign as MB is loyal eg Kiko even though he was crap he kept playing him till forced to. Different playstyle than the championship which is a crazy league so wait and see.

Wood's ability to get the ball in the net from limited opportunities far outweighed Bambi. Not saying he is high class footballer, but he was more ruthless in front of goals!

Think Bielsa will be loyal to him but think if he is to play he could play the 10 role - he has a good touch and can pass and has bought into the run your socks off mentality

Attacking-wise he definitely has that ability, but i can't see him doing the required chasing back and covering from that role - whenever he defends he either gives away a free-kick with a desperate lunge, or a pull back on the defender/midfielder - would be a liability in that sense i think.
