    Mick Bates RIP

Sadly another legend has passed away - if there is such a thing as an afterlife then I hope they are all kicking a ball around before having a pint with Billy and Jack holding court

R.I.P. Mick, never given the credit or recognition due, never complained, just got on with business.

Thoughts go to his family and friends.

RIP Mick and my thoughts are with his family, friends and fans, the latter of which I count myself as one.

As mentioned above, a very underrated player, but an important cog in the Revie machine and a model professional.

Most definitely a true example of a loyal club player my folks tell me - a sad loss indeed for all.
Condolences to his family & friends.

From here in Brittany 'Nous vous saluons Mick' !
