Im biased here of course Anag, and I always will be for MY team Barnsley. I sure as hell don't feel sorry for Wigan because they blatantly broke a particular rule that we've always adhered to. And I don't care for Brentford either, they bottled it big time, when it mattered the most.

I was referring to previous seasons RA - you know bossing QPR, having a man advantage and still losing the final (to a bunch of financial cheats who later on their relegation paid £40 million.

Losing to Villa in last seasons final, losing to Hull in the semi's and countless other occasions when we had promotion in our grasp and failed. Still theres always next season, good job we didn't go up etc etc, the annual chant of the rams fan!!

Then you have everyone's darlings, Bournemouth,, who had a wage bill of £29m on a £9m turnover when they got promotion.

Why was there no widespread condemnation when they got promoted?

Ram your spot on about Bournemouth I could never understand why there was so little said about their cheating . They were found guilty of cheating FFP overspending in the 2014-15 season the year they got promoted They made lossess of £10.3 million in 203-14 then loss of £38.3million in 2014-15 . They were fined £7.6 million by the ELF very paid it and eventually agreed a settlement of £4.2 million in 2019 So five season in Prem and now have parachute money the ensure they go straight back up . Wolves did the same signed top class Portuguese and Spanish players ,defered part of their large wages to abide by FFP and got promoted ,blatant cheating in my eyes

Who’s next was the question. The answer, sadly, is Macclesfield Town. Folded today over unpaid debts of around ‘just’ £500k.
