The person was in yesterday so they are working through the names and numbers of everyone that was in yesterday to tell them they need a test.

If he/she was in yesterday and knows they are positive today then that means they went to the pub while knowing they were waiting for test results.

the selfishness of people will never surprise me.

Wonder if Weatherspoons knew something about an issue prior to Covid, re the pub. Seemed strange for them to give it up.

So after mondays news and 2 days being closed, It turns out the person who tested positive had a second test which was negative 🤦*♀️
But still, as a precaution we have kept the pub closed until we know our staff who are returning are negative.
The pub has been cleaned and there will be no staff returning to work until they have their results

Better news.. we have had some of the teams results back and we will be
REOPENING TOMORROW AT 10AM!

Unfortunately the kitchen team havent had theirs back yet so we will be unable to offer food until they can return to work.

When the kitchen is reopen we will be offering the 'eat out to help out' which means you can get 50% off food and soft drinks, upto £10 per person! This is available monday to wednsday

Thankyou for your understanding and please be assured we have done our best to make our pub Covid safe, we have followed guidelines and we have only taken action as a precaution to keep our staff and customers safe!
