    The English Game

I am not certain that this hasn't been mentioned before but well worth a watch.

The English Game, is a series on Netflix charting the start of Football back in the 1800s . Mainly based in London and Lancashire.

Some well known actors in the film.

I thought it was a reasonable attempt that would have been much better if supported by someone who had a greater knowledge of the game. for example the drawn replay after the 5-5 draw was completely ignored. I lost interest after that and didn't bother to watch anymore.

Artistic licence, Wokes. If you didn't watch the rest you should go back and watch it. It isn't supposed to be an exact replica of what happened but is very close to it. The wives liked to watch it, because of Lord Kinnaird. Eye crumpet for them.
