Further to West Ham’s 1907 “fabulous” championship success and my wife’s grandmother being born in the same year it was also the year Adolf Hitler’s mother died......

When West Ham won the South Western league in 1907 the Queen mother was there (Who was a massive West Ham fan) to watch it.

Allegedly (according to Tricky!) the Queen and her mum liked blowing bubbles so what happened to William...a Villa supporter? OK they do have the same ‘orrible colours but even so, where did it all go wrong?

Well William got confused as a child about the colours of West Ham and Villa (Uneducated alas).
At least his brother Harry and Megan are faithful West Ham fans like the rest of the royal family

Also In the attic of a house I rented years ago I found an empty bottle of Chateau St Julien Vintage 1907. Inside the bottle instead of wine was the skeleton of a mouse. I kept the bottle for years until I dropped the phucking thing and smashed it....Anybody else got any useless stories to tell about 1907?
reckon it was the last time Dave got a round in,
    and paid for it!
